I'm still alive!!
Yeah, this is going to be a short post, you should be able to tell from the title. My sincere apologies for vanishing from the blogosphere these past few weeks. Priorities, y'know? =p
No, really. Sem's winding up to a sparkling, stress-inducing, explosive, spectacular finish. Two papers due this week. One book to read for tomorrow (which I haven't started yet). Student recitals (music) Wednesday night.
God's been good la. Cancelled classes at just the right time, fun times with friends..
Some random news:
1) I picked up and almost wore underwear while meaning full well to put on some socks. Textbook example of a brain fart (and the dire consequences of chronic sleep deprivation =p).
2) I'm *attempting to* grow a beard. Pictures are forthcoming (when the beard actually becomes more than marginally visible)
3) God has blessed me with a new roommate for next sem (Huy's moving out to take care of his cousin and sister who are coming here for exchange programs before college): Liew Keen Seong. We're both Psych majors and Music minors. And Malaysians. Woo-hoo!!
4) There will be THIRTEEN Malaysians living in Maclean dorm next sem. o_0 (Not to mention the *estimated* 20+ more incoming Malaysian freshmen)
5) I successfully (with rave reviews from our Malaysian peer reviewers) collaborated with Anna Yong to make steamed herbal chicken for Ben Eakin birthday party. Ben is a friend of ours who had the brilliant idea of inviting all the Malaysian students to his house to cook for him for his birthday. Pure genius. The food was breathtakingly AMAZING. Oh my goodness.
6) I bought a 2GB SD card for -$0.05. Yes, you read that right. I got money for it. One word: Buy.com.
7) I got a 154 out of a possible 144 for an Abnormal Psych test.
8) I got a 98% on my last Business Stat test.
That's all for now. Gotta go do some treatment planning for a client, then rush to finish homework for Abnormal Psych.
Prayer request: freaking DISCIPLINE (sourced from Grace, of course - which translates to praying for proper reception of Grace) to spend time with and enjoy God especially in this time of busyness and stress. "Don't let my love grow cold, I'm calling out: Light the fire again!"
